Here’s a heartbreaking story about a dog named Buboy and his caretaker, Marcelo.

Every day, Buboy would patiently wait by the faculty room in Mabalacat City College, Pampanga to meet Marcelo.

Marcelo wasn’t Buboy’s real owner — he was often seen in the school grounds — but the two formed a strong bond and became inseparable.

Marcelo passed away recently but Buboy went about his business anyway. Every day, he would wait by the faculty room to meet his beloved Marcelo.

Ma. Kristina Paola Demafelix, Marcelo’s colleague from Mabalacat City College, took pity on Buboy and decided to bring him to Marcelo’s funeral where he could finally say goodbye to his best friend.

According to Paola, Marcelo and Buboy had been inseparable when the professor was still alive.

Marcelo may not have been the real owner of Buboy but he took care of Buboy. Even during his classes at the college, the dog would either patiently wait outside of the classroom or quietly stay beside Marcelo as he taught.

Marcelo would always feed Buboy and soon the two formed a strong bond.

Paola promised that although Marcelo was gone, Buboy would still be taken care of and will remain within the school that the dog and his caretaker loved so much.
